Brookdale Apartments - Seasonal Grounds Care Specialist
Woodbury Management, Inc. is currently seeking a seasonal Part-Time Groundskeeper to work closely with the maintenance team at our Brookdale Apartments community located in South Lyon! The Groundskeeper will have overall responsibility for the property's cleanliness and curb appeal.
What are the responsibilities of a Grounds Technician?
- Responsible for the general upkeep and cleanliness of the apartment community
- Upkeep neat appearance of parking lots, grounds surrounding the buildings, stairwells, laundry rooms, and mechanical rooms, if applicable
- Collecting and removing trash as needed
- Weeding beds using appropriate tools
- Reporting any damages of grounds, carports, or buildings to management
- Blowing or sweeping sidewalks, and parking lots, as required
- Maintain pool chemicals and pool area
- Additional duties as assigned by supervisor
What are the role requirements?
- Lift up to 50 pounds, bend over regularly, climb ladders
- Maintain a professional appearance following team dress code policy
- Able to effectively and professionally communicate with residents and co-workers
- Basic computer skills
- Assist with apartment turnover duties, including cleaning, repairs
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment
- Successfully pass drug test and background screening
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
