Brookdale Apartments - full-time Residential Maintenance Technician

We’re on the hunt for a full-time Residential Maintenance Technician to join our superhero team in South Lyon, MI! Your mission, should you choose to accept it, involves general property maintenance, light carpentry, electrical wizardry, HVAC repairs, service requests, preventative maintenance, make-ready turns, and other “just make it work” duties.

**The Requirements:**

- Experience in Maintenance (bonus points if you can fix a leaky faucet while making puns).

- Able to lift up to 50 lbs., move appliances, bend, and climb ladders (if you can also juggle, we’ll be impressed).

- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (we don’t provide a magic carpet).

- Willing & able to work a rotating on-call schedule (because when things break, they usually do it at the most inconvenient times).

- Must be able to pass a criminal background and drug screening (no secret identities or illegal substances, please).

**Schedule:**

- 5x8 (or as we like to call it, “five days of saving the day”).

- 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday (weekends off for superhero training).

- On call rotation (because emergencies never take a day off).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
