Septic & Excavating Service Technician

Anything Outdoors Septic & Excavating is a locally owned and operated septic service company committed to providing high-quality service and solutions to residential and commercial customers. As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a motivated and reliable Septic Service Technician to join our team as soon as possible.

Position Summary:
The Septic Service Technician will be primarily responsible for installing rehab systems into new and existing septic fields. They will also be performing routine maintenance and minor repairs on septic systems as well as regular maintenance checks on existing systems. This role requires a dependable, safety-conscious individual who is comfortable working outdoors and interacting with customers. Some working electrical knowledge and experience with tools would be a plus, but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate tools and other equipment safely and efficiently

  • Perform septic system rehab installations, maintenance, and minor repairs

  • Conduct system inspections and identify potential issues

  • Complete service reports, work orders, and necessary documentation on an in field service tablet

  • Communicate professionally with customers and provide outstanding service

  • Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work environment

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license required (CDL a plus, but not required; CDL training available)

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Mechanically inclined with basic troubleshooting skills

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical labor

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly wage -  $21-28/hour based on experience and qualifications
