Welcome to Whitmore Lake Tavern, located off US 23 halfway between Ann Arbor and Brighton at exit #53. Purchased in 1992 by the owners of Zukey Lake Tavern in Pinckney, the former Kales “Pier 23’ has a beautiful view overlooking Whitmore lake.

Although a couple of the principle owners have changed, Rick Glazer, Tom Lombardi, and John Ciaramitaro have continued to own and operate the Tavern together since 2002. The original motto of “Great Food at a Reasonable Price” still embodies our efforts to establish a comfortable family atmosphere which has remained the same throughout the years.

Original favorites such as our Deep Pan Pizza, BBQ Baby Back Ribs, Choice steaks, Sirloin Burgers, grilled sandwiches & distinctive House Salads are still offered to our Tavern guests. The famous “Wet Burrito” has been a favorite at both Taverns since 1980.

We offer food and drink specials every day of the week for both lunch and dinner, and a full service weekend breakfast menu with many house made specialty items! Our breakfast menu is available every Saturday 8am-12pm & Sunday 9am-2pm. Don't forget to join us for a fun time every Thursday night for ''Karaoke Fever'' from 7-11PM!

Enjoy dining on our Summer patio with a breathtaking view of Whitmore Lake. Come in and watch the game on one of our many flat screen TVs, purchase a “pull tab”, or try your luck at Keno.

As a member of the Chamber of Commerce and an established supporter of our community & local school system for 20 years, we invite you to bring the kids and enjoy our comfortable family Tavern.
