Daniel H. Bolda

Dan is the owner and founder of Michigan Pension & Financial, Inc. He has more than 25 years' industry experience and serves hundreds of small companies and individual clients with their 401(k) and financial planning needs as an Investment Adviser Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network.

Dan and his wife, Patti, have been married for 24 years and have two children, Erik and Julie. Erik attends the University of Michigan, where he is studying financial mathematics. Julie attends Drake University, where she is studying actuarial science.

Dan enjoys chess, games of strategy, and watching/attending football, baseball, and hockey games. He tied for 3rd place in the Michigan Open Chess Championship.

Beth A. Snipes

Beth has 15 years' experience of 401(k) and profit-sharing plan administration, is the lead plan administrator, and is a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries.

She loves virtually every aspect of administering“her plans”; both technical administration and helping business owners and employees address their retirement needs. During her watch she has successfully “endured” 13 random IRS plan audits.

Beth is active in her church and is a member of the Daughters of Isabella.

John T. VanDenBerg

John is an administrative assistant at Michigan Pension & Financial, with responsibility for plan servicing, including enrollments, distributions, and loans. He also serves as the in-house information technology manager.

Prior to joining Michigan Pension & Financial, Inc., John worked in management positions for several companies, including Advanced Lighting Products, Sears Holdings Corporation, and the Kmart Corporation. John has a BA in criminal justice from Michigan State University.
