About Us

George Kolb founded Hines Park Lincoln Mercury in 1970. Located on Forest Avenue in Downtown Plymouth, Michigan, it was then known as Hines Park Mercury Inc. In 1973, Hines Park acquired the Lincoln franchise and moved to its current location on Ann Arbor Road just east of Haggerty. Shortly after relocating, the I-275 highway became a reality and the small town dealership would never be the same again.

Along came the 1980s and Mike and Dave Kolb joined their father in the family business, ready to meet the challenges of a growing community and changing industry. Always looking for ways to improve customer satisfaction, the Hines Park Team underwent several expansions and renovations over the next 15 years. Hines Park had evolved from selling hundreds of Lincoln Mercury vehicles per year to selling thousands. The key to our success has been the ability to give our customers the finest ownership experience available.

In October of 1995, the Kolb brothers continued to evolve with the acquisition of a Ford dealership in Milford, just a short drive from Plymouth. With sales and customer satisfaction on the rise, the year 2000 was the beginning of a brand new Hines Park Ford dealership, which rose from the fields of Pontiac Trail and Milford Road just off the I-96 exit.

In order to meet our customers' ever growing service and maintenance needs, the Quick Lane Center of Canton was erected in 2004; located on Canton Center Road north of Ford Road. Later Hines Park Ford incorporated a Quick Lane Center within the existing dealership to service all makes and models.
