Nonprofit Round Table & Workshop: DIY Case for Support – Packaging Your Mission. Every one of us is distracted by messages coming in from many different channels. How does your organization tell its story and ensure your donors (or prospective donors) understand why they should invest in your organization? This workshop will focus on building (or remodeling) your case for support. We’ll explore the importance of a case for support and how to use it to support your annual fund, capital campaign, and major gift efforts. We’ll share examples and encourage you to bring your own to share. You’ll leave this session with a better idea of how to talk about your mission and create your own case for support. Our presenter will be Stacey Anderson, a consultant with Aly Sterling Philanthropy.
Our Nonprofit Round Tables have been established in order to promote the sustainability, enhancement and development of our area’s nonprofit organizations. These Round Tables seek to cultivate a cooperative and supportive business environment among its members by encouraging an exchange of ideas and best practices on topics such as fundraising, strategic planning, board governance and team retention. Stacey Anderson of Aly Sterling Philanthropy, a full-service consulting firm specializing in building sustainable solutions for nonprofits, is often our expert on hand to lend advice on the various topics.
