Greater Brighton Young Professionals - How to Network and Get Referred
Are you attempting to build a business or brand as a young professional in the greater Brighton and Livingston County areas? Do you want to create new and long-lasting relationships with peers? Are you looking for young professionals to refer to and get referrals regularly? Are you nervous when walking into a room without knowing anyone? If you’ve answered yes to any of those questions, than this is the event for YOU!
“Networking” is a term that we’ve all heard for years and in many different contexts. Someone such as an old boss or grandparent has probably said to you, “To build your business/brand/credibility, you should be networking.” But what does that mean? What does one need to do to be successful?
Join the Greater Brighton Area Young Professionals for a workshop with local networking professionals - community people who have focused their businesses and practices around building a network of people they know, like and trust.
Come and learn how to make a memorable impression, how to increase your network, and what you can do to be top of mind when it comes to getting referrals. Attendees will have a chance to use the skills learned for networking following the workshop. Don't forget to bring plenty of business cards!
We hope that you join us for a great evening of laughing, sharing, and building a bigger and better young professional community. Food will be provided by Hissho Sushu & Craft Beer, (YUM!!) and some drinks will be served, courtesy of the GBACOC.
Thanks to GBYP Executive Sponsor, Executive Wealth Management, for their continued support! Thanks also to event sponsor, Hissho Sushi & Craft Beer!
