Anne earned her business credentials as a Ford Motor Company communications and governmental affairs executive and was named by Automotive News to its first list of ?100 Leading Women in the Auto Industry.? Following her early retirement from Ford, she ran for political office and served four years on the Auburn Hills City Council.
A respected voice for advancing women and girls, Anne?s work as a Keynote Speaker has taken her to six continents, including assignments for the U.S. State Department in the Mideast, Europe and the Caribbean. She currently serves on the board of Detroit PAL that is lifting at-risk girls through sports and youth enrichment programming. She is the immediate past president of the Michigan chapter of the International Women?s Forum and just completed a term on the global board of IWF, a preeminent, by invitation, membership organization of global women leaders.
An honors graduate of the University of Michigan, she has studied at the University of Madrid and has completed graduate work at Northwestern, Harvard and Duke universities. Fluent in conversational Spanish, Anne is the mother of a 30-year-old son, a life-long equestrian and global traveler whose work and interests have taken her to 36 countries on six continents.
