Ann Bollin, State Rep, District 49, elected in 2018 is serving in her third term. She sits on the Appropriations Committee and is Vice Chair of the General Government Appropriations sub-committee and serves on the Department of Health and Human Services Appropriations sub-committee and the Corrections Appropriations sub-committee. She will share her story of her beginnings, challenges and staying positive.
Barbara Binkley, Owner, Cooper & Binkley Jewelers since 1991. A family run business that focuses on commitment to customer service, community involvement, honesty, professionalism and exquisite merchandise. She and her team are committed to the community and service. Earned the 2022 Women of the Year award from the Chamber.
Tina Jackson, President and CEO of Work Skills Corporation. A 33-year history of setting goals and achieving business objectives. She has a solid background in executive leadership, strategic planning, business development, human resources, operations, customer relations and organizational development. Tina has been instrumental in the development and growth of the staffing, home care, retail, employment and training and education divisions of WSC.
Justine Jovanovski, Owner, Never Look Back Vacations, a local travel agency that specializes in Cruises, Disney, Universal, all-inclusives and more. Prior to opening her own business, Justine was a public high school teacher for 15 years. In 2021, she took a leap of faith, closed the door to the classroom and opened the door to entrepreneurship. Justine has traveled to 25 of the 50 states and has ventured overseas to explore Italy, France and Spain. When she's not planning dream vacations for clients, you can find her spending time with her husband, daughter and pup.
Moderator: Jennifer A. Sturdy, PNC Vice President Client and Community Relations Director. Jennifer is director of client and community relations for PNC in Mid-Michigan. Jennifer plays an integral role establishing PNC as a leader in community and philanthropic engagement, particularly in the field of early childhood education through PNC Foundation’s signature program Grow Up Great. Among her civic and professional affiliations, she is active in the Great Start Collaborative of Ingham County, Lansing Promise, Capital Area Childcare Coalition and is the past chair of Athena WIN. Jennifer is also a PNC certified Women’s Business and Minority Business Advocate.
