Aqua Boot Camp is a total body workout that can be modified to every individuals abilities! A major focus of this class will be on cardiovascular fitness including short high intensity interval training (HIIT). Every class will incorporate components of flexibility, muscular strength, balance, range of motion, power, agility and coordination.
Exercising in water reduces impact and stress on joints making it a safe environment to recover from an injury or cross train. With the water being 12 times the resistance of air the pool provides a great place to build strength in every plane of motion. Give it a try we guarantee you won't be disappointed!
Instructor: Katrina Clines
Katrina has been teaching aqua exercise for 23 years and is certified through Aquatic Exercise Association and the American Council on Exercise. She is convinced that aqua exercise is the best mode of exercise that one can participate in at any age. Katrina attends as many conferences and workshops so that she can bring back what she learns to share with her class. No class is ever the same!
