Chartered in September 1977, the Club contributes to many local causes and has spear-headed some large projects. We are an IRS-recognized 501 c 3 organization.

As with all Optimist Clubs, we are ''Bringing Out The Best In Children, our members, and the community'' through our positive service programs. By believing in young people and empowering them to be the best they can, Optimist volunteers continually make this world a better place in which to live.
