DESCRIPTION:An evening featuring metro-Detroit's finest blues musicians!\n\n2 Stones Events and the Brighton Center for the Performing Arts have teamed up to present the Brighton Blues Bash! 2 presented by Cooper & Binkley Jewelers.\n\nAt 5:30\, the great Etta James is paid tribute by an all-star cast of 12 of Detroit's finest blues musicians: The Woodward Horns (Bobby Streng\, Jimmy Smith\, Matt Martinez\, and James Hughes)\; bassist David Uricek\; drummer Rennell Gonsalves\; keyboardist Mark Thibodeaux\; guitarists Johnny Rhoades and Kris Kurzawa\; and vocalists Tosha Owens\, Raye Williams\, and Lenny Watkins.\n\nKicking off the evening at 4 p.m. A tribute to the late Johnnie Bassett\, Detroit's Gentleman of the Blues\, with The Brothers Groove (Chris Codish\, keys\; Skeeto Valdez\, drums\; and James Simonson\, bass) joined by Brett Lucas\, guitar\; and Keith Kaminski\, saxophone.
